The news has been dominated by the COVID-19 virus. The adage that the world is a small place rings true given how the virus has spread – discovered on New Year’s Day and a world pandemic only ten weeks later.
Even in the last seven days our ‘normal’ lives has changed dramatically – self isolation, businesses closing down, all public events cancelled and panic buying.
The board believes the responsible action is to suspend dinner meetings for the next two weeks to allow the board to source more information before making a longer term decision.
For all, and especially those with a health issue, or those in the older age bracket, please take notice of recommended practices. In time we will return to our normal community.
