Wow, wow, wow! Isn’t our new website brilliant! Have you memorised your new STRONG password?
This new space is amazing and demonstrates the impact we have in our community through our service visually. Not only is it our digital gateway into RCSL, but also for the world. It demonstrates our service to our community, but also that we are a strong progressive club of service. We are people of action. It has been a Rotary year of change for our club. We are almost there in the new club structure and hopefully we will fully integrate more successfully in our next Rotary year.
Can all Rotarians read the DG’s O & N that would have arrived in your in boxes on Friday evening (please check your spam box if you can’t see it in your inbox). This week it highlights very important aspects of being an attractive club to encourage new members and retain them. We need to be progressive and open minded, while holding some of the past practices in our club whilst moving them forward and modernizing them.
The Soggy Bottom Regatta is coming up on the 3rd March. It’s time to get out the cardboard and tape. It would be great to have a few boats.
Thankyou to Rotarians who barbecued at Glen Dhu Primary School on Thursday night. Sheep poo with Monica looked great from the photos on Facebook.
The Group 4 Presidents’ meeting held on Saturday morning with AG Brett Williams was fantastic, I have learnt so much about Rotary this year and it has been great to have his sup-port. The District Conference is coming up soon, so make it your priority to book your place in early March for April. Remember you don’t have to get a full registration if you don’t want to go to the evening functions.
There is so much going on in Rotary and there are so many wonderful people to meet my year so far has been fantastic.
Regards President Krista.
