Dear Rotarians ,
Last week was club forum night, during the evening a few Rotarians informed the club that they are very happy
with the way our club is running and that we should not change anything. I am happy to hear this and as I have
often said we have a vibrant club and we are a great team. I have noticed that our meals are coming out a little
late and I will ask the Hotel to ensure that all meals be served at 6.30 pm.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Directors and all our members for all your hard work.
Rotarian Graeme LeFevre has asked members to assist with the Australian Historic Road Championship
starting Friday 18th November. Please try and clear your diary during this time to assist so that we can make this
a great event.
We also cross over with the RSPCA BBQ on Sunday 20th November this is another chance for Rotarians to
discover what volunteering is all about.
We are also getting towards the end of the month and this means our function at Sharmen's is nearly here. If you
have not sold any tickets please give them back to Rotarian Terry Crawford . We will be asking members to help
with catering in the coming weeks. Ladies and Gentlemen pull out those recipe books and start thinking about
what salad you would like to make.
There is a board meeting this Thursday evening, if any members would like to have anything addressed please
send a email or letter to one of our Directors or myself before noon on Thursday.
The club is still on the lookout for a President and a President Elect if any members are interested please
contact me or a Director for any information .
