President Glenda’s Notes - 30th Mar 2017

Thursday, 30 Mar 2017

Hello Rotarians,

This week I received  an email from Rotarian  Judith King informing me that Rotarian  Neville has been admitted to hospital. If any Rotarian  wishes to visit Neville  please contact Judith first.
Rotarian  Judith has a very positive attitude  and we wish them both a speedy recovery.

This weeks meeting will be very different  as the students from St Patrick's  college gives us a quick peek at their production  Footloose. We then have Detective  Inspector  Philippa Burk talking to us about family violence.

Last week I asked members to put forward their thoughts on singing the National  Anthem.  As President  I sometimes have to do something  that I might not necessarily  agree on but we are a democratic  society and I am only acting on what other members  have raised. We will take a vote so please either email Secretary  Krista  or place your response on a piece of paper in the box provided  on Thursday  night.
1. If you want to continue  singing the anthem place a YES on the paper.
2. NO if you want us to stop singing the anthem.
3. UNSURE if  you  don't  mind either way.

Have a great week.
