Dear Rotarians,
There is no newsletter this week as our editor Rotarian Lydia is unwell.
I am still on the hunt for a new editor?

Thank you to all those who attend our “Bring a Friend” evening. I had a great time chatting to all our guests and of course members. The Rotaract club of Tamar Valley did an amazing job with their presentation and hopefully they will gain a few younger members.

Show week is this week and there will not be a meeting. Rotarian Steve Gordon is still looking for volunteers.

Rotarian  Dale Luck has asked if any members would like to volunteer a few hours on Sunday 15th October for The Make a Wish  walk, run event. It is a great community  event and equally a great way for our club to be involved community wise. It is at Aurora stadium  and we would need to be there at 8.15 am. Volunteers will be placed along the events course.

Tuesday night is our “Friendship night”  at Wangs Chinese restaurant in George street. We have a good number of Rotarians and partners going to this, once again I look forward to seeing you there.

Montana is one of America’s greatest unspoiled treasures of scenic lands and wildlife. Encompassing Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park, it is a place to enjoy the grandeur of nature and the hospitality of authentic small-town American life.
Our Rotary District is looking at organising a friendship exchange trip in  MAY 2017.  We will be home hosted by the district involved in the recent Professional Development Exchange.  We will be in Montana for two weeks travelling around their district
The team will consist of approx 12 people
