President Glenda’s Notes - 31 May 2018
Wednesday, 30 May 2018
Hello Fellow Rotarians,
Thank you all for attending last weeks meeting. One of the many rewarding things about being President is when I get to induct new members into our club. On Thursday night I had the honour of introducing Rotarian Andrea Bartholemew to our club. Rotarian Andrea is going to be a great member and we all look forward to getting to know her a little more as she settles into our Rotary family.
A big thank you to Rotarian Dale Luck who stepped in quickly as our guest speaker. I always enjoy these talks and always come away learning something.
My Rotary year is nearly at an end, however we still have a few projects to complete.
This week is the Science and Engineering challenge we are so very lucky to have so many members and partners volunteer their time.
The team that is heading off to Fiji are now in their final week before they start their project "Natusara primary school"Fiji, we have dotted all the "i's" and crossed all the "t's" this week. Please offer your support any way you can as this is a great RAWCS project and I can't wait to hear all about it on their return. If any member wants to see the submission for this project please visit the website www.rawcs.org.au from there you can see all the projects RAWCS has and you can also donate if you wish.
Secretary Krista Preece has reminded all Directors to start sending in their reports for the Change-over.
Yours in Rotary,
President Glenda Iles
