~~Hello Fellow Rotarians.
Last Thursday we had Rotarian Wayne Higgs talk to us about condensation and mould in homes, even though Wayne thought we would all be bored I for one certainly learnt something from this informative session.
Rotarian Graham LeFevre stood up last week and asked all Rotarians to put their name down to volunteer when we go to Agfest next year. This is a whole club initiative and therefore the whole club benefits as we could raise some good funds to distribute throughout the year.
We have also agreed to help with Festivale on the 3rd/4th February 2018 with Bretho Stay Alive and also The Wooden Boat Festival. February is looking very busy if you need any information please speak to Rotarian Kim Biggelaar.
Rotarians please remember to bring a child's reading book along to our meeting this week as we will them donate these to Migrant Resource Centre.
The Christmas function is set for Wednesday night 13th December at The Colonial Motor Inn, as we raised some money from our Wine auction some of these funds will be used towards this function. On the Sunday 17th December we will be holding a Christmas Family picnic at Punchbowl Reserve and with the funds from the Wine Auction we will provide presents for the children attending.
Yours in Rotary,
President Glenda Iles
