Last week was a very busy but rewarding time for us all.
Last Thursday night we heard Chloe Cunningham from Angels Hope talk to us about bullying. This young lady has gone through so much in her short life yet through love and support of family she
has achieved so much and is now giving back and educating people about the effect of bullying.
I would once again like to thank Rotarian Sonia Morganti and her fundraising committee for all their hard work before and during our event at Sharman’s Vineyard. It was a fantastic day and a huge
success. There are so many people to thank and I hope I don't miss anyone.
Rotarian Terry Crawford for all your invaluable help and time. Rotarians Craig Mitchell, Graeme LeFevre and Wayne Higgs for slaving away at the BBQ, our members who took gate tickets and
the parking attendants. Rotarian Craig Mitchell thank you for taking all the rubbish at the last minute and all those members and partners that helped clean up and pack away tents and chairs as we
tried to leave the vineyard as we found it.
Once again The Tassie Tenor Joe did not disappoint and entertained us all to the very end.
A big thank you must go to all the ladies and gentlemen that made salads, they were divine, and we had so many compliments.
I would also like to thank all those who donated prizes for our raffle. I for one will enjoy my clothing voucher that I won. Last but not least Ian Murrell and staff at Sharman's Vineyard, thank you. Your
venue was amazing and your service impeccable, nothing was too much trouble and whenever I asked for help you were there.
Quote for the week ...... Dreams + work = success
I look forward to seeing you all Thursday night
